Taliyah and Jamar first met through a mutual friend, and from the start their connection grew naturally. When they found out they were expecting, both were filled with joy. Taliyah describes feeling happy, excited, and a little nervous all at once, while Jamar remembers being incredibly happy but also in a bit of disbelief. They were thrilled to learn they’ll be welcoming a baby boy, and the anticipation has only grown since then.

So far, Taliyah has been craving plenty of chocolate, but more than anything, they’re both excited to see who their little boy will become as he grows. They describe this new chapter in one word—blessed—and their hearts are already full of love and gratitude. When asked who they think baby Jahmir will take after most, they both smile and agree he’ll probably be more like Jamar.
